Supporting local suppliers is important to us here and The Purbeck Deli’s owner Diana works hard to source only the tastiest food products from the area.
We’re very lucky to be surrounded by some of the country’s best food producers, all with a passion for making food full of lip-licking deliciousness.

Of course, many of our products are created in our small kitchen here at the Deli.
All of our succulent home cooked meats are supplied by a nearby family butchers and cooked and prepared by us.
Fresh from the oven with their scents wafting through the shop are our flapjacks and brownies, frangipane tarts, rock cakes and scones. And who could forget our delicious traditional Dorset apple cake, made from a recipe that’s been handed down for generations.
And the local delicacies don’t stop there...
We delight our customers with all kinds of wonderful food from producers based in Dorset. From the much revered Dorset Knob biscuits to thick Dorset clotted cream. We offer Dorset tea, together with fresh milk from local dairies. For those looking for something a bit stronger, we have a host of locally made ales to choose from.
Often, Diana finds something from further afield that is simply too yummy to resist. We have a range of exceptional products from the South West region, from wine, mustard, garlic, chilli, and mineral water to cheese, juice, fudge and ice cream.
